I illustrated this spread to accompany the article "New UCLA institute will study — and spread — kindness" by Teresa Wantanbe for the Los Angeles Times. I wanted to use a labeling system often found in scientific illustration paired with a fun and colorful bouquet of kind things to do to capture the overall feel and subjects of the article.
